| Wooden CAKE MOLD Mt. Fuji Temple Medallions |

This beautifully carved wooden mold is traditionally used to make rakugan, a dry sweet cake for auspiscious formal occassions.
Though usually used for sweets, this mold can be used to shape anything, such as soaps or candles. It's also a wonderful antique to display in your home, or to give as a unique gift.
This wooden mold features three medallions that are decorated with graceful calligraphy. Indicating that they are from the Zenko-ji temple near Mt. Fuji, this cake mold is a also wonderful piece of Japanese culture. |
